We decided to drive along the coastline from San Francisco to Santa Cruz. It was the Santa Cruz boardwalk that drew us in. Dave and I reminisced about the beaches and amusement parks that we went to growing up as kids in Massachusetts. For me it was summer vacations at Salisbury Beach and Canobie Lake Park and for Dave it was Whalom Park and Hampton Beach.
